Disney has always made sure that they treat their viewers with something special time to time. This time it was the adaptation of Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol. The animation had the popular and hilarious Jim Carrey plays the all messy and sadist Ebenezer Scrooge and if you have seen this movie you know that you have never imagined Scrooge to be this Scroogy. The story line is pretty much the same as the main book where Mr. Scrooge comes home to have his Christmas and is haunted by a series of ghosts who make him realize that he could have been better as a person and have had a better life. The way the movie has been presented was awesome and if you ask me I would say I defiantly liked the editing that has been done.

You might say that it is a bit creepier as a Christmas movie. Things those are shown so clearly might give a few children nightmares but they will obviously enjoy the animated expressions of Jim Carrey. The animation was severely focused on Mr. Scrooge’s facial expressions of desperation and depression. The ghosts are creepy too, but that is understandable. After all ghosts are ghosts no matter what their purpose is.

The funny part of this movie is, Jim Carrey voiced Mr. Scrooge and along with all four ghosts those haunt him. If you want to find out a few flaws then you can look into the not so important characters that Mr. Scrooge meets while visiting his past and future. The animations are not of same standard and lack the emotional touch to perfection.

Another thing that I felt was the movie did not serve the purpose of the book that wanted to connect to the emotional part of the readers. The realization of Mr. Scrooge and evaluation of life are overshadowed by the flashy animation of the journey that Mr. Scrooge under goes. But I think this can be justified as the movie is made to entertain kids and animation lovers and people have had enough of moral education and it’s Christmas. The idea was to give the viewers a nice and wonderful family time and I guess A Christmas Carol and Jim Carrey along with the director Zemeckis was successful in doing that.

The adaptation created a sensation specially among the girls who would give anything and everything to have a boy friend like Edward Cullen. I never understood which part they like of him. Was it him being vampire or was it his hair style? Something must have been cool with this guy. However, since Twilight we all have been waiting with much interest for the Twilight – Saga New Moon. I am no different to all of you. I also waited for the movie to be released. So when it did, one fine Saturday evening I went to watch the movie.

When I was watching the movie I wondered who the target viewers are. If you are a fan of the book series then you might question the availability of Edward Cullen in the movie and if you are not then you could be a bit irritated by the length of the movie. But by no stretch of imagination New Moon was a bad movie or anything like that. Those of you who are hardcore fans of Twilight you must have had a great time enjoying this movie. And I know a lot of people who did not even watch the first part and ended up liking the movie and then saw the first part.

If you go into in depth analysis of this movie, the first thing that you would want to appreciate is Kristen Stewart as Bella. Her performance got only more stunning and impressive than he last movie.

The movie starts with a view of full moon and ends with Bella breathing. In between these, a hardcore fan would get all that he can expect from the movie. They would get the taste of obsession that Bella and Edward has for each other and they would feel the vibe right from the start to the end. The entrance of Jacob in the main scene sparks the rivalry between the Edward and Jacob followers and they will enjoy the movie to the fullest. But if you are not one of those fans then you might just wonder what these all is about? Why is this obsession? And half of you might look at Edward with curious eyes to find out why your girlfriend is crazy about this guy.

But the fact is I came out of the hall and was pretty pleased that I choose to watch the movie to start my weekend

Huge box office hits like Avatar finishing the year on a high note. But this is not the end of it. Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes is one of the much anticipated movies. The movie opened in the Boxing Day. The movie’s opening was held on the Boxing Day. The opening was enlightened by the gracious presence of Robert Downey Junior and Jude Law’s co-star, Rachel McAdams.

The most attractive thing in the show was Rachel’s outfit and specially her hair that was casually done and was totally awesome. Her hair was done by the celeb hair styler and Pantene Pro-V ambassador Danilo. And he let us know the ways of styling hair with that casual but yet very exclusive way.

Step one is to divide your dry hair into few sections and apply hairspray to lift the roots. Then you are to use rollers and leave it like that to cool off before you go on and unwrap it into waves. Then you can use a little serum to smooth the ends. Ruffle your hair with fingers to separate the hair.

Keep a wave loose and let it fall across your face and bring the sides of hair back loosely and fold one over the other.

Next step is to comb the hair backwards with a wide toothed comb. Danilo used Pro-V volume and hairspray to complete the styling and ask them who saw Rachel on that evening. Wasn’t she glowing? It was simplicity with class and aristocracy written all over her. This will go down as one of the most fabulous simple Christmas look on my book and I hope so many of my readers will agree with me without any argument what so ever.

And now it is in the theatres. The 3D movie has already been a smashing hit at the box office and has impressed every single individual who have seen the movie. James Cameron has been a very successful director you could not expect anything less than this form him.

Most of us have already seen the movie and have been dazzled with the graphics of the movie. If you have not seen the movie here is a sneak peak for you.

The movie is made on a backdrop of 2154. The earth is mining a substance called Unobtainium which is the main cure of energy crisis. The region where the drilling is going on for last 30 years is the home of an indigenous race of humanoids called Na’vi. These creatures are about 3 meter tall and glows in dark with a tail. This race is not happy with all the drilling going on.

Earth sends a marine team in Pandora to take care of things but the atmosphere there in Pandora is not that human friendly and incomes the technology called Avatar that combines human and na’vi to make it suitable for human to take control of things. The Avatar is a skin of Na’vi that looks exactly like Na’vi but is controlled by human minds.

Unfortunately, the atmosphere of Pandora is quite toxic to humans and there is new technology called, Avatar program that wires up the human mind to an Avatar “skin” which is made up of human and Na’vi DNA to look exactly like the Na’vi, but controlled by the humans on the ship outside of the world. Sort of like the U.S. military controlling the Predator Drones from their bases on the other side of the planet.

So anyway, our hero by the name of Jake Sully cannot use his legs. And the Avatar program is very appealing to him because he enables him to become a wholly functioning being again, as a Na’vi warrior that the military sends into Pandora to infiltrate the Na’vi tribe.

The movie is also about the obsession of the main character to live a complete and self dependent life. You will love the presentation and screenplay of the movie. And the 3D facility makes the movie more realistic and lively. In a nutshell, the movie is a wild and exciting joy ride that will leave you stunned and by the time you walk out of the hall you will think to yourself James Cameron is a sheer genius when it comes to movie making.

Ask me personally, after watching the trailer I was so eagerly waiting for the movie to hit the box office. It finally did and I went rushing to watch the movie. I would have been really happy to say that the movie was amazing, breath taking and entertaining. But this is not the case. I was rather disappointed when I left the hall and while my way back to home I thought for a while.

First of all, the movie was a 2 and half hour movie. It was of moderate pace and had a lot of disasters to show. Volcanic eruptions, shattering earth, fireballs and what not. With all these things going on at one point I thought I was watching a documentary of some sort showing the ways of how the earth can be destroyed.

And the world was being destroyed but nothing happens to the savior. He always found a way to get his car through the ransacked streets and hills. Flying all around and creating a sense of urgency. I wonder how positively that affected the viewers. And to be honest the application of science could be a bit more realistic. They could find better scientific reasons to the earth’s end. We all know that sea levels will rise and stuff but that is not what we want to see. I am not a science guy or anything but I am sure those of you who toys around with science would agree with me when I say that reasoning could be better.

But the only things I like were a few scenes and special effects. I thought the scene where the JFK ship hit the locality was cool enough to make me sit straight on my spine. But other than that I guess the movie spoiled the fun of my Saturday night. When you destroy the world you got to do it in a better fashion.

The Third outing by Austrian stand-alone comedian Josef Hader and Helmer Wolfgang Murnberger adapts the cult novels of Wolf Hass to show a stunning performance in The Bone Man. Though Hass has set out his unique identity by producing novels like “Come Sweet Death” or “Silentium,” The Bone Man is quite up to the par – but Hader himself finds himself a guest start sometimes in his own movie, up against Josef Bierbichler’s powerful play as Chicken Grinder title.

Produced by Danny Krausz and Manfred Fritsch, directed by Wolggang Murnberger, The Bone Man is another Dor Film production that is a shambling flatfoot that undercover mordantly funny things going on deep in to the countryside. Most say outside German and Russian speaking territories, The Bone Man can earn some pure coins at the European sites.

Co-staring Josef Hader, Josef Bierbichler, Birgit Minichmayr, Christoph Luser, Pia Hierzegger, Simon Schwarz, Dorka Gryllus, Stipe Erceg, Ivan Shvedoff, Edita Malovcic, Gerti Drassl, Martina Zinnerand many more.

The Movie start with Berti(Simon Scwarz) who has kept ready an assignment to BrennerHAer) who reluctantly accepts and recovers that its all about a car, leased by Horvath, on which the final installment is not been paid. This beginning trail gives an abrupt finish quickly turning into roast-chicken supplier restaurant where Brenner’s inquiries about he agreement meets rustic sullenness, specially portly owner Loeschenkohl(Bierbichler) and the morose barmaid Alex(Pia Hierzegger). Horvath himself stays vanished all through the scenes.

Just as situation pulls Brenner to go Vienna, Loeschenkohl’s son Porsche Pauli (Christoph Luser) says that he can provide sufficient help to find out where all of Brenner’s fathers money goes. As Brenner finds himself getting too involved in the complete movie, he realizes that he got involved in a murky tale of Russian pimps, a Bratisalvian hooker, a well-covered up crime and a bone grinder machine that can be used to grind some thing more than just chicken remains. Brenner also experiences that he starts falling for Pauli’s wife Birgit (Birgit Minichmayr), who manages the kitchen.

Though the movie stretches until this for up to two hours, the movie does supply the suspense up front in an olden day’s blackly comic sequence, set in the very restaurant basement grindery. With in then, the movie takes major turn around and complex web f mysteries with false rails were Loeschenkohl looms as a possible serial killer all through the movie. Brenner on the other and stumbles from pillar posting a hapless investigator who receives more than his deserved share of knocks.

Minichmayr takes her own hold against Hader and Bierbichleras as the trashy Birgit, who knows more than what she gives away, and other roles that were well limned. Surprise solutions of the cases were realized in the whole movies, and this gives a clever piece of casting in the movies, though Horvath’s disappearance became a side issue all through the movie.

The Bone Man is a Peter von Haller’s completely saturated interior sparkling a bright light, snow filled exteriors complement for this pro technical production.

In Babylon A.D., the arrogant Vin diesel sets mode to travel over land, ice and water from somewhere in the Soviet Union to the New York City accompanies with a nun, Michelle Yeoh and a young woman Aurora, Melanie Thierry. Aurora is both the biological weapon and a messianic figure in the movie being given the most importance in the movie.

Though the movie start off with some odds and solemn disasters everywhere, the movie made itself yet spoiler proof by refusing to make any since of what of going on. Babylon A.D. has not been screened in advance for some critics. One can make the judgments on the clear view of the movie as the directed Mathieu Kassovitz has already publicized the movie to be a complete package of violence and stupidity.

However, the director and 20th Century Fox has compromised lot of time making a political and metaphysical vision in the movie making a truly violent film. Watching this movie is a lot fun as secret reveal in unthoughtfull patterns. The movie combines a both double brain work with some badly executed violent action to make a mumbo-jumbo stoic sequence which is incomprehensible until the viewers get to watch the movie.

Vin Diesel acts as a tattooed mercenary named Toorop who has been appointed to smuggle Aurora to New York City to her mom, while her mom trying to misuse the powers of Aurora that is built by both her mom and dad. Though her dad does all what he can to bring back her daughter safe and secured from her mom in New York, every thing gets messed up when Toorop reveals some serious secrets. Aurora’s powers refer to some strange happening of Aurora being able to reproduce asexually by herself.

Babylon A.D. is filled with violence and profanity. Though rates PG-13, it is a must to watch movie for all.

The pastor asks for Rambo’s assistance in guiding the hired missionaries to the village in order to rescue other mercenaries’ survivors who had been kidnapped by the Burmese.

Despite the fact the Rambo has already sworn off all sorts of violence trying to lead a normal life, he has no choice to do what God has created him for, that is accepting that nothing is impossible when it comes for physical strength versus the power of the enemies.
This time Rambo again sets off alone with that black band in his forehead and tons of guns all around him, no one can stop him at all. He knows what he must do and he is in one off his most dangerous mission that he promised to accomplish.

Packed with an agitated fast paced action, the film has crossed the limits of our imagination. Totally over -the- top, Jason Statham step foot to a yet another best performance in Transporter 3.

A 20th Century Fox and Lionsgate distribution, Transporter 3 is a 2008 action film, the third installment of the Transporter series. With a $41,000,000 budgeting, written and produced by Luc Besson, directed by Oliver Megaton, the film continues the storey of Frank Martin (Jason Statham) who is a professional transporter who has returned to France to continue his “transporting” job of delivering packages without questions.

In the beginning of the storey, the tough guy Frank wants to live out of the game and reside in a Mediterranean retirement setup. All of it changes when his friend crashes into Frank’s living room with his Audi telling Frank about his next delivery. A film genre like Transporter 3 deserves a heart pounding opening like this and Jason made all of it possible. As the movie continues, the delivery plan does not actually goes as Frank set it up, thus the start of an sensational action series that continues all through the movie. Jason’s martial arts powers followed yet newer trends all through the amusing action scenes in the movie, treating ten others “big-guys” in the movie singly handed with never-been copied before moves.

Transporter 3 is not just a fun filled, nail-biting, non-stop action powerhouse, but also a love storey to some extent. Frank meets his passenger Valentina (Natalya Rudakova) who works at joint venture to beat up the interruption o f the delivery.

Not just that, but shootings performed in France, Russia, Odessa and Ukraine with the co-stars François Berléand as Inspector Tarconi, Justin Rodgers Hall as Horatio[1], Eriq Ebouaney as Ice[1], Robert Knepper as Johnson, Jeroen Krabbé as Leonid Vasilev, David Atrakchi as Malcom Manville and many more has a little bit of something for you in the climax.

Available both in DVD and Blu-ray, a fully loaded and widescreen addition is just waiting for you.
